Set against a vast, unpredictable backdrop, the artwork depicts a mother moving forward with her two children. She carries a toddler in her arms, while the older child walks independently, remaining anchored, tightly gripping the hem of her mother's dress — a gesture that serves as the emotional heartbeat of the piece.
